This page will be periodically updated the longer I’m forced to use Exchange and Outlook 2003. Thankfully this will be the last time you see it on the front page.
- Rules Export can only export every rule.
- The search is slow and non-indexed, taking 20mins to do what should take 30 seconds.
- Microsoft bought Lookout Software, killed the tool and wants people to use Desktop search instead.
- Reminders can be set to 5 minutes before start but entering in 3 minutes before start returns
The snooze time “3 minutes before start” is invalid. Please enter a valid snooze time.
Of course this pop-up dialog does not provide information about what a valid snooze time is. - Getting “The operation failed.” on startup.
- For some unknown reason, the GUI degrades to something out of 1995 when my laptop comes out of hibernation.
- I can not find out to configure number of simultaneous IMAP connections.
- Unable to sort a folder by the Read property, instead I’m supposed to use a virtual folder called Unread Mail
Unable to display the folder. Microsoft Office Outlook could not access the specified folder location. Another application closed unexpectedly while using your Personal Folders file ‘C:\Documents and Settings\scott.markwell\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook\outlook.ost’. To prevent potential damage to your Personal Folders file, it will not be available until you close all applications currently using it.
