Should I disable Windows Vista UAC just to install Postgre SQL?
Bug 3416 and Bug 3593 are both logged about this issue, yet it appears that this won’t be addressed beyond “disable UAC”.
I’m not sure who to leverage hate at, Microsoft and the dubious UAC or PostgreSQL for not addressing a changing platform that is in common use as a development environment.
Guess I’ll bite the bullet and turn off UAC…
