Operating systems and their installations I use day to day.
- Primary Desktop – Windows XP Pro
- Personal Laptop – Windows XP Pro
- Personal Laptop – Windows XP Home
- Work Laptop – Windows Vista Business
- Home Server – Ubuntu 7.10 (formally FreeBSD 6)
- MustEat Server – FreeBSD 6
The only major change over this time last year is Ubuntu instead of FreeBSD at my house, which was only changed so allow for VMware server to be run, and I do miss FreeBSD at home. I’ve also switched jobs so my work laptop is now Vista rather then an XP variant. While the incremental improvements over XP are appreciated, I’m toying with the idea of dual booting Ubuntu as it can currently handle all of my day-day tasks for work.
